Meet Tara: Registered Massage Therapist in London, Ontario

Tara is an experienced Registered Massage Therapist providing evidence-based, patient-centred care exclusively at our Downtown London (423 Colborne Street) clinic. She graduated from the Accelerated Massage Therapy program at Fanshawe College in 2018 and brings nearly seven years of hands-on clinical experience treating pain, tension, and musculoskeletal dysfunction.

Tara uses a wide range of therapeutic techniques to help patients reduce pain, improve mobility, and restore balance. Her treatment style combines deep tissue therapy with gentle, targeted techniques that address the underlying causes of tension—not just the symptoms.

Warm, friendly, and highly attentive, Tara is known for creating a calm and supportive treatment environment. Outside the clinic, she enjoys yoga, reading, spending time with her two cats, and relaxing with games, movies, and music.

Clinical Treatment Approach

Tara integrates multiple hands-on techniques to create individualized, results-driven treatments, including:

  • Swedish massage
  • Deep tissue massage
  • Myofascial and fascial release
  • Therapeutic stretching
  • Cupping therapy (certified)
  • Trigger point release
  • Corrective and rehabilitative massage

She takes a holistic approach to care, focusing on how posture, stress, lifestyle, and movement patterns contribute to pain. Patients appreciate her ability to identify dysfunctional areas quickly and tailor each session to their specific needs.

Muscle Tension & Overuse Injuries

Daily strain, repetitive movements, and poor posture can lead to tight muscles and discomfort. Massage helps release tension and restore healthy movement patterns.

Chronic Pain Conditions

Massage therapy can help manage persistent discomfort such as back pain, neck tension, and shoulder tightness by improving blood flow and reducing muscular restrictions.

Sports Injuries

For active individuals, massage supports muscle recovery, reduces soreness, and helps prevent recurring injuries.

Stress-Related Tension

Physical stress often presents as tightness in the neck, shoulders, and upper back. Therapeutic massage promotes relaxation while relieving built-up muscular tension.

Motor Vehicle Accident Injuries

We specialize in treating motor vehicle accident injuries. Massage therapy can be an important part of a structured recovery plan to restore mobility and reduce soft tissue discomfort following an accident.
