REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST

Leena Martins is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) with over 6 years of clinical experience providing evidence-informed, patient-centred massage therapy in London, Ontario. She is committed to helping patients feel more comfortable, move better, and support their recovery through individualized treatment based on their needs and goals.

Leena Martins, RMT | Registered Massage Therapist

Leena has a clinical interest in sports massage therapy, deep tissue massage, and TMJ treatment. She also works with patients seeking care for chronic headaches and migraines, muscular tension, overuse injuries, and ongoing pain patterns. She provides breast massage therapy as part of her practice as well.

Her background includes experience working in an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) clinic, as well as with individuals recovering from stroke and cardiac events. This experience has helped shape her thoughtful, adaptable approach to care and her ability to work with a wide range of patients.

Leena’s approach is also influenced by her personal experience growing up with a brother with non-verbal autism, which helped develop the patience, empathy, and understanding she brings to her treatment room. She is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and respectful environment where patients feel heard and well cared for.

Leena sees patients primarily at our Wortley Village clinic and also offers Friday appointments at our Hamilton Road clinic in East London.

Outside the clinic, Leena enjoys reading, hiking, and exploring new restaurants around London.

Muscle Tension & Overuse Injuries

Daily strain, repetitive movements, and poor posture can lead to tight muscles and discomfort. Massage helps release tension and restore healthy movement patterns.

Chronic Pain Conditions

Massage therapy can help manage persistent discomfort such as back pain, neck tension, and shoulder tightness by improving blood flow and reducing muscular restrictions.

Sports Injuries

For active individuals, massage supports muscle recovery, reduces soreness, and helps prevent recurring injuries.

Stress-Related Tension

Physical stress often presents as tightness in the neck, shoulders, and upper back. Therapeutic massage promotes relaxation while relieving built-up muscular tension.

Motor Vehicle Accident Injuries

We specialize in treating motor vehicle accident injuries. Massage therapy can be an important part of a structured recovery plan to restore mobility and reduce soft tissue discomfort following an accident.
