Joshua Lloyd OSTEOPATH

Meet Joshua Lloyd: Highly Experienced Osteopathic Manual Practitioner in London, Ontario

Joshua Lloyd is an experienced Osteopathic Manual Practitioner providing evidence-informed, hands-on treatment for pain, dysfunction, and chronic tension. He currently accepts new patients at both our Hamilton Road and Wortley Village clinics, offering a calm, precise, and highly individualized approach to osteopathic care.

Joshua begins every appointment with a detailed assessment—including orthopedic testing, functional movement analysis, and precise palpation—to identify the true source of discomfort. He works collaboratively with our chiropractors, physiotherapists, and registered massage therapists to ensure coordinated, whole-body treatment for patients across London, Ontario.

Advanced Osteopathic Training & Specialized Techniques

A graduate of the Southern Ontario College of Osteopathy (2013), Joshua has advanced clinical training in two of the most respected osteopathic specialties:

Visceral Manipulation (VM)
A gentle, highly specialized method focusing on organ mobility and fascial tension. VM can help with digestive discomfort, abdominal tension, postoperative adhesions, pelvic issues, and chronic mobility restrictions influenced by visceral dysfunction.

Craniosacral Therapy (CST)
A subtle, precise technique affecting the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid around the brain and spinal cord. CST is commonly used for chronic headaches, migraines, TMJ dysfunction, neck tension, stress-related pain, and nervous system dysregulation.

Joshua integrates these methods with classical osteopathic techniques, including:

  • Muscle and fascial release
  • Joint mobilization
  • Postural correction
  • Biomechanical movement therapy
  • Targeted therapeutic exercise programming

Upcoming Certification: Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac.)

Joshua is in the final phase of completing his registration requirements to become a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac.) in Ontario.
He is expected to be fully licensed in approximately five weeks.

Once registered, he will offer acupuncture as an additional therapeutic option for musculoskeletal, visceral, and nervous-system-related conditions.

Muscle Tension & Overuse Injuries

Daily strain, repetitive movements, and poor posture can lead to tight muscles and discomfort. Massage helps release tension and restore healthy movement patterns.

Chronic Pain Conditions

Massage therapy can help manage persistent discomfort such as back pain, neck tension, and shoulder tightness by improving blood flow and reducing muscular restrictions.

Sports Injuries

For active individuals, massage supports muscle recovery, reduces soreness, and helps prevent recurring injuries.

Stress-Related Tension

Physical stress often presents as tightness in the neck, shoulders, and upper back. Therapeutic massage promotes relaxation while relieving built-up muscular tension.

Motor Vehicle Accident Injuries

We specialize in treating motor vehicle accident injuries. Massage therapy can be an important part of a structured recovery plan to restore mobility and reduce soft tissue discomfort following an accident.
